Five people meet for a six-week-long creative drama class at a community center in Shirley, Vermont. Each participant (including the teacher, Marty) arrives with certain expectations that are either met, exceeded, or neglected throughout the course of the class's exercises and games, leaving them all transformed in irreversible ways.

This play is an exploration of intimacy, humanity, and performance; a love letter to the art form of live theatre and the people who make it.
