This classic comedy opens as a group of the guys assemble for cards in the apartment of divorced Oscar Madison. And if the mess is any indication, it's no wonder that his wife left him. Late to arrive is Felix Unger, who has just been separated from his wife. Fastidious, depressed, and none too tense, Felix seems suicidal, but as the action unfolds, Oscar becomes the one with murder on his mind when the clean freak and the slob ultimately decide to room together with hilarious results as The Odd Couple is born.

Oscar Madison | Male-Presenting | 35-55 | carefree, good-natured, and recently divorced sportswriter who lives alone in a messy NYC apartment.  He is oblivious to the mess around him, and to his overdue child support payments.  He and his buddies have a weekly poker night, with Oscar providing refreshments from a refrigerator that hasn’t worked in weeks. | 4 scenes, 456 lines

Felix Ungar | Male-Presenting | 35-55 | fastidious, difficult, compulsive, depressed and possibly suicidal news writer, he arrives very late for the weekly poker game, because his wife has just asked for a divorce.  He agrees to move in with Oscar temporarily so they can both save money for child support and alimony, and he offers to clean and cook, and pay half the rent. | 4 scenes, 386 lines

Roy | Male-Presenting | 35-55 | Oscar’s accountant, with a dry wit that serves him well during the poker games. | 3 scenes, 64 lines

Speed | Male-Presenting | 35-55 | gruff, sarcastic poker buddy.  Wicked sense of humor but when it comes to his friends, cares about them all. | 3 scenes, 64 lines

Vinnie | Male-Presenting | 35-55 | mild-mannered, and an easy target for Speed, he uses the weekly poker games to get away from his spouse.  It doesn’t work. | 3 scenes, 66 lines

Murray | Male-Presenting | 35-55 | an NYPD policeman, thinks everything through in great detail, doesn’t like to be rushed, but cares deeply for all of his poker buddies. | 3 scenes, 118 lines

Gwendolyn Pigeon | Female-Presenting | Late 20's- Mid 40's | Oscar’s upstairs neighbor, a widow.  Sweet and giggly, she moved to NYC five years ago with her sister, Cecily.  She can be innocent, with a little bit of a “dirty” sense of humor. | 2 scenes, 66 lines
