This production is comprised of several short plays written by Bell Elliot Palmer in the 1930s:

Setting The Nation Right - The Club meets to discuss what is wrong with the world today and how to resolve it. 

California Bound - Two women depart for vacation, leaving their pets behind. 

Who Says Depression? - The Club reads of the difficulties their ancestors experienced compared to those they experience. 

We’re Too Busy - The group may be called for Jury Duty, but who has the time? 

Meet Mrs. Delong - A writer is in town, and they can't wait to meet her!

Bargain Cure - A discussion of ailments is always enlightening. 

The Ladies Settle It - The Club discusses technocracy as the ideas of digital money gain traction. 

I Knew You’d Understand - Gossip infects the circle, will they listen or take action? 

Setting: The living area of an old house. This production will be set present-day to reflect the similarities of the past and present. 

Characters: 8 women, ages 16-100, each vastly different in appearance and personality to represent the broad scope of women in present-day America. 

Auditions will be online (Zoom) Saturday, January 23, 2021, with in-person Masked Callbacks on January 24, 2021.

Rehearsals begin virtually in February.
